25 de Abril: Liberdade pelas Mãos dos Mais Pequenos

No passado dia 25 de abril, as crianças da nossa escola participaram com entusiasmo numa iniciativa muito especial: a distribuição de cravos na Avenida da Liberdade, símbolo da liberdade conquistada há 51 anos.

A atividade foi organizada em colaboração com a escola e teve como objetivo aproximar os alunos dos valores de Abril — liberdade, igualdade, democracia, solidariedade e participação cívica.

Assinalar o 25 de Abril na escola é mais do que relembrar um acontecimento histórico: é educar para a cidadania, é formar consciências, é garantir que os valores da democracia continuam a florescer nas novas gerações.

Agradecemos a todos os professores, educadores, auxiliares e, claro, às famílias, por ajudarem a construir este dia tão especial. Um agradecimento especial ao 4ºG pelas fotos que representam todos os alunos e ao professor Nuno pelo vídeo.

On April 25th, the children from our school enthusiastically took part in a very special initiative: handing out carnations on Avenida da Liberdade — a symbol of the freedom won 51 years ago.

The activity was organized in collaboration with the school and aimed to bring students closer to the core values of the April Revolution — freedom, equality, democracy, solidarity, and civic participation.

Commemorating April 25th in school is more than remembering a historical event: it is about educating for citizenship, shaping awareness, and ensuring that democratic values continue to grow in new generations.

We would like to thank all the teachers, educators, staff members, and of course, the families, for helping to make this such a special day.

We would also like to thank the 4th grade class G for the photos shared on behalf of all students, and Professor Nuno for the wonderful video.
